Refund Policy

Last Updated: January 2025

Flash Brain is committed to delivering quality financial management and communication education. We understand that sometimes circumstances change. This policy outlines when and how you can request a refund for our learning programs.

Eligibility for Refunds

We evaluate refund requests based on specific criteria and timing. Not all situations qualify, but we try to be fair and reasonable in our approach.

When You Can Request a Refund

  • Within 14 days of enrollment, before accessing more than 20% of the course materials
  • If technical issues prevent you from accessing the platform for more than 7 consecutive days
  • When a course is cancelled or significantly changed by Flash Brain
  • If you experience a documented medical emergency that prevents course completion

When Refunds Are Not Available

  • After completing more than 20% of course content
  • More than 14 days after enrollment date
  • For courses marked as "non-refundable" at time of purchase
  • If you've downloaded course materials or certificates
  • When you've violated our terms of service or community guidelines

How to Request a Refund

The process is straightforward, but you need to follow these steps in order.

1

Email Our Support Team

Send a message to [email protected] with "Refund Request" in the subject line. Include your full name, enrollment date, and course name.

2

Provide Required Information

Explain why you're requesting a refund. Include any documentation that supports your request (medical records, technical support tickets, etc.).

3

Wait for Review

Our team reviews requests within 3-5 business days. We'll contact you if we need additional information or clarification.

4

Receive Decision

You'll get an email with our decision. If approved, refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method.

Processing Timeline

Most refunds appear in your account within 10-14 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider

Partial Refunds

Sometimes a full refund doesn't make sense, but a partial one does.

Prorated Refunds May Apply When:

You've completed some course modules but need to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances. We calculate the refund based on content accessed and time elapsed since enrollment.

For example, if you've accessed 30% of a course within the first month, you might qualify for a 60-70% refund depending on the specific situation. Each case is reviewed individually.

Different Payment Methods

How you paid affects how you get your money back.

Credit or Debit Card

Refunds go back to the original card used for payment. This typically takes 5-10 business days after approval.

Bank Transfer

We'll need your banking details to process the refund. Allow 7-14 business days for funds to appear in your account.

Payment Plans

If you're on an installment plan, refunds are calculated based on payments made minus content accessed. Future installments are cancelled immediately.

Third-Party Platforms

For purchases made through partner platforms, you'll need to request refunds through their system. We can provide supporting documentation if needed.

Special Circumstances

Life happens. We get it. Here's how we handle unusual situations.

Medical Emergencies

If you face a serious health issue that prevents you from continuing, we'll work with you. You'll need to provide documentation from a healthcare provider. We can often arrange a course freeze or full refund depending on timing and situation.

Technical Problems

When our platform has issues, that's on us. If you can't access materials due to our technical problems for more than a week, you're eligible for a full refund regardless of enrollment date. Document the issues by contacting support when they occur.

Course Quality Issues

If the course doesn't match its description or you find significant quality problems, let us know within the first week. We take this seriously and will review your concerns promptly.

Important Note About Course Dates:

Our programs scheduled for September 2025 and later have specific refund deadlines. You must request refunds at least 30 days before the course start date for full refunds. After that, standard policies apply.

What Happens After a Refund

Once we process your refund, a few things change automatically.

  • Your access to course materials ends immediately
  • Any certificates or credentials issued are revoked
  • You lose access to student community forums and resources
  • Downloaded materials should be deleted per our terms of service
  • You can re-enroll in the future, subject to availability

Disputes and Appeals

If your refund request is denied and you disagree with the decision, you can appeal.

Email our support team within 10 days of the denial with "Refund Appeal" in the subject line. Include any new information or documentation that wasn't part of your original request. A different team member will review your appeal within 5 business days.

Appeal decisions are final. We don't offer additional appeals beyond this process.

Changes to This Policy

We update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our programs or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we'll notify enrolled students by email at least 30 days in advance.

The policy version in effect at the time of your enrollment is the one that applies to you, unless changes are required by law.
